AGGRAND Organic Hay Fertilizer for FarmersIf you're a hay grower then you know just how expensive it's becoming to generate a productive stand of hay grass. With fertilizer costs what they are these days, you can hardly make a buck. In fact, I've heard from many farmers over the last couple of seasons who've indicated, if it wasn't for running across AGGRAND organic fertilizer for their hay fields, they would have had to quit fertilizing altogether and just hope for the best. Fertilizing Hay Fields with AGGRANDThe typical AGGRAND application recommendation for many hay grasses would be one gallon of 4-3-3 per acre mixed with 1 gallon per acre of the liquid lime. This fertilizer/liquid lime mix would be blended with about 30-40 gallons of water. For nitrogen loving grasses, raising the application rate to as much as 2-5 gallons of 4-3-3 per acre - mixed at 30 or 40:1 with water - MAY be helpful, but testing of different rates would be recommended to find the best return on your investment). The actual rate will likely depend a great deal on how much chemical nitrogen you're currently putting down or have put down in the past. For instance, on high yield hay fields such as bermuda hybrid or coastal where some farmers might apply as much as 100 lbs. of nitrogen per acre per application OR MORE, you MAY need as much as 4-5 gallons per acre of the AGGRAND 4-3-3 to get similar yield (although not necessarily). Of course, you will also gain a considerable increase in plant nutrition. In addition, the hay will be much more drought, stress and disease/fungus resistant.
